Meet Melser Bonilla: Landscape Photographer and Adventurer

Hello! I'm Melser Bonilla, a landscape photographer based in Virginia, always on the move to capture the next awe-inspiring view. My passion for the great outdoors started when I was ten, and my parents gifted me my first telescope. I spent countless nights gazing up at the stars and pondering the vastness of the universe.

It wasn't until I discovered fly fishing over 20 years ago that I truly fell in love with the beauty of nature. Whenever I'd cast a line, I'd find myself lost in the breathtaking landscapes surrounding me. From the rolling hills of Virginia and West Virginia to the dramatic canyons of the Southwest and the misty forests of Washington, I've been fortunate enough to witness the diverse beauty of our country firsthand. My adventures have also taken me beyond the United States, exploring stunning landscapes across the globe.

My Journey

Join me as I chase the next adventure and capture the stunning landscapes that make our world incredible! My passion for the great outdoors sparked an exhilarating journey that led me to pursue a career in landscape photography. I yearned to capture the awe-inspiring beauty I witnessed while fly fishing in places like Shenandoah National Park. It all started with my trusty iPhone, but I quickly realized that capturing the true essence of nature required more than just a pocket-sized camera. I was determined to learn how to do it justice.

Photography Adventures

I delved deep into photography, investing in courses and booking one-on-one sessions with renowned photographers like Richard Bernabe, Dave Morrow, and Tom Till. It's been a thrilling adventure, and I'm excited to continue exploring and capturing this world's stunning vistas. My photography adventures have taken me to some of the most breathtaking places in the world, from the dramatic red rock formations of Utah to the rugged mountains of Iceland. I'm always chasing that perfect shot, and nothing beats the rush of capturing the beauty of nature at its finest.

Capturing the Night Sky

Summer nights spent under the stars are some of my most treasured memories, as I aim to capture the magic of the Milky Way and other celestial wonders. And when winter comes, I love exploring snow-covered forests and mountains, searching for that unique shot that will take your breath away.
